"But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them"
II Timothy 3:14
I have been blessed by this week's conference which continues today. I have been challenged to worship more sincerely, pray for fervently, and serve because I love God. As a Christian, I want to constantly be maturing growing in grace as well as in knowledge. To grow in grace means change, lasting change. Not change that comes for a week or a month and then reverts back to whatever I was before, but change that lasts for a lifetime.
So I encourage you to take the lessons that you have learned this week and incorporate them into your other habits. Did you commit to pray more? Make sure that you do! Did you commit to serve God because you love Him? Stoke the fires of your love for God! Let's not let this week become one among many others. May this week bring deep change that re-directs the course of our lives.

God has been very good to us. We have a tendency to focus on the negative and notice all the things that we lack rather than to see all the gifts that God has given us.
When we experience the vanity that is life without God, do we return to the God who loves us?
Rest comes from rejecting responsibilities that God does not intend for us and accepting God's yoke for us.
The answer to America's social ills is God's grace and Christian love.
