God has been very good to us. We have a tendency to focus on the negative and notice all the things that we lack rather than to see all the gifts that God has given us. God has blessed Elmira Baptist Church with a love for each other and a spirit of unity. Do not overlook God's goodness in that. We have an almost finished new building for our church to worship in, and we do not owe anyone a penny for it! Over the past year, God has given us an abundance, and out of that abundance you all have given so that the financial needs of the church are met and more. Through your giving by faith, you have blessed our special speakers and missionaries with generous love offerings.
Now as we come to the end of 2024 and the start of a new year, as we near the completion of a new building and the transition into new space, let us not forget how good God has been to us.

When we experience the vanity that is life without God, do we return to the God who loves us?
Rest comes from rejecting responsibilities that God does not intend for us and accepting God's yoke for us.
The answer to America's social ills is God's grace and Christian love.
