"And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb."
Revelation 19:9
If you were hungry at the end of Thanksgiving Day, I feel sorry for you. Even when I was away from home at college, even when I was in Mongolia, our Thanksgiving feasts were marked by mountains of meat and rivers of gravy. Turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce there is no end to the food. And don't even get me started on desserts.
Believe it or not, there is a greater banquet that awaits those who are God's children. The marriage supper of the Lamb when Jesus takes His bride home to be with Himself will be unlike anything you have
ever experienced before. We cannot even imagine what awaits us at that meal.
If you thought the Thanksgiving Banquet was amazing and it was! you will be astounded at the marriage supper of the Lamb Best of all, the ticket is free because Jesus paid for your entry with His own blood. The only question is: will you be there?

God has been very good to us. We have a tendency to focus on the negative and notice all the things that we lack rather than to see all the gifts that God has given us.
When we experience the vanity that is life without God, do we return to the God who loves us?
Rest comes from rejecting responsibilities that God does not intend for us and accepting God's yoke for us.
The answer to America's social ills is God's grace and Christian love.
